The exchange rate is USD 1 = HKD 7.8

The registration fee includes:

    • Admission to all sessions including the keynote speaker sessions and all parallel presentation sessions.
    • An electronic copy of the conference proceedings

The registration fee is payable online using a credit card.

If your accepted submission has multiple authors and more than one author would like to participate in the conference, each participant has to pay the registration fee separately.

Please note that at least one of the authors of an accepted paper (abstract or extended abstract) MUST register for the conference before the conference registration closing date and attend the conference to make a presentation. Failure to register will result in automatic withdrawal of the submission from the conference proceedings and program.

Registration opens on 1 June 2021.

Cancellation Policy

Registration may be canceled with a full refund (less USD50 handling fee) by 22 November 2021. No refunds will be granted for cancellations made after 23 November 2021. All cancellation and refund requests must be sent to iibg2021@hkmu.edu.hk

Disclaimer

For the IIBG Annual Academia-Industry Exchange 2021 (“IIBG 2021”), Hong Kong Metropolitan University (“HKMU”) and the Organising Committee of IIBG 2021 would only act as the event host and organizer of IIBG 2021. All arrangements for the conference are made on the expressed condition that neither HKMU nor IIBG will be liable for any direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages, injury, losses, accidents, delays or irregularities of any kind occasioned by reason of any act or omission beyond its control, including but without limitation to, any act of negligence or breach of contract of any third party who is to or does supply any goods or services to the participants of the conference.

Without limiting the foregoing, HKMU and IIBG will not be responsible for any losses or expenses due to delay or changes in schedule, overbooking of accommodations, default of any third parties, sickness, weather, strikes, acts of God, acts of terrorism, force majeure, war, quarantine, criminal activity, or for any other cause beyond their control. HKMU and IIBG reserve the right to change the itinerary of the Conference without prior notice. HKMU and IIBG may refuse to accept or to retain any Conference participant as attendee in the Conference at any time.
