About the Symposium

The modes of business, work and living have been affected due to an unprecedented global public health crisis in living memory in the form of COVID-19. Although the pandemic is far from over, there are signs that life is moving back into pre-pandemic normalcy. Moving into 2022, now is the probably the best time to examines the current and likely impacts of the pandemic on human talents – with a focus on the work and living arrangements will attract the best talents for organizations. In this symposium, we bring together world-class scholars, industrial experts and educators to share their valuable insights on human talent acquisition and development. Issues of discussion may include but not limit to the followings:

What are some key permanent changes and their implications on talent acquisition and development?
What skill sets employees are expected to “reskill” and “upskill” as work returns to normal? How may technology and educators play a role in the human talent development process?
